Make Room to Grow
Are you starting your business with just enough to get you started? Does that mean you do not anticipate any immediate growth? Beware of how this plays out in your mind. It can go something like this:
- No capital cushion/no immediate investments
- Limited staff/cannot meet the needs of customers
- Marketing/unavailable to accept appearances on webinars, podcasts, or radio interviews.
What are you ready for when it comes to business expansion? Once you promote yourself to public, you should be ready to do business. Having time to prepare for and accomplish the mission to create web content, write blogs and speeches, is the key to success. You come across as polished, confident, and knowledgeable. Having flexibility in all areas will be beneficial. See the big picture. Where and how can this business connect with and assist the community? Use your resources to be ready to possibly collaborate.

There will be common interest groups to work with such as:
- Photographer
- Graphic Artist
- Marketing Advisor
- Virtual Assistant
- Coach
- Media
This might not apply in your area of work, but I believe you can make the adjustments to accommodate what you need. Simply have knowledge of some of the professions and people you might meet to enhance your business. Build strong relationships, socialize with people with integrity and good character. “Opportunity comes infrequently, when it rains gold, put out the bucket, not the thimble,” Warren Buffett.
