It’s Okay to Disconnect
Do not feel guilty about parting ways, it is your subconscious letting you know it is time to grow in a different direction. If this involves another party, let them know as soon as you accept the decision within yourself. If you have connected with like-minded individuals from the beginning, they will understand. Not only will they understand but find it applaudable. It is possible that you will connect in other ways in the future. It is okay to go your own way and do your own thing, slower, faster, or completely different. Do not overthink it when the idea pops into your head. That is the moment to think rationally, assertively, and make the move – not days, weeks, or months later, just do it.
REASONS PEOPLE FIND IT HARD TO DISCONNECT
- THE OTHER PARTY WON’T UNDERSTAND/ IF THEY DON’T THAT IS EVEN MORE REASON FOR YOU NOT TO BE THERE
- FEAR OF BRANCHING OUT INTO THE UNKNOWN/ THE ONLY WAY YOU’LL KNOW IS TO TRY
- WON’T BE AS SUCCESSFUL AS WHEN THEY WERE CONNECTED/ IT TAKES TIME TO BUILD YOUR PLATFORM
- FEAR OF BEING EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL AND NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE FULLNESS THAT COMES WITH (GROWTH)/ YOU LIVE AND LEARN; REACH OUT TO OTHERS THAT HAVE SUCEEDED IN YOUR FIELD FOR ADVICE (RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE)
Now are you ready to disconnect? It is a positive thing!
Justifiably Yours
